Apple has made quite a lot of progress on its under construction “Campus 2” set to become the company’s new headquarters when complete around the end of the year. Since last checking in a month ago, a video update published today by Matthew Roberts for June shows continued progress on the roof of the main circular spaceship building, including a look at the heating and cooling systems installed throughout, and what looks to be some new outdoor areas surrounding the entrance of the underground theatre. Head below for a look at progress made in recent weeks.

Also seen in the video below is finishing touches being put on the on-site parking garages that will hold around 11,000 vehicles, as well as the solar panels now almost installed across the entire roof of the building.

Next we see Apple has covered the top of the underground portion of the new Theatre, and it appears it’s framing out a plaza or stairs of sorts in front of the circular Theatre entrance. That’s not something it showed in renders of the auditorium entrance in the past:

In Apple’s original renders of the auditorium entrance, the ground is landscaped flat and level leading up to the entrance:

We’ll have to wait to see if that entire area gets landscaped as originally planned.

Apple also has made a lot of progress on the installation of canopies and glass on the interior and exterior of the main building, as well as continued installation of solar panels on its roof.

And here’s a look at the research and development facility and fitness center separate from the main building.

There are a few new, smaller buildings being erected just across from the main building along Tantau Ave:

As always, you can keep track of progress on Campus 2 in our ongoing construction progress timeline where we post the latest drone flyovers and news surrounding the project. If Apple sticks to its current timeline, it should wrap up construction by the end of the year and begin moving employees in by early next year. It will likely start hosting its media events at the new Theatre around that time as well.
