Apple continues to expand the cast of its upcoming sci-fi drama series “See.” According to a report from Variety, Apple has signed on Sylvia Hoeks and Archie Madekwe as series regulars for the show…
Hoeks most recently starred in “Blade Runner 2049” and is slated to appear in “The Girl in the Spider’s Web.” She perhaps best known for her work in European television, however, having appeared in shows such as “Overspell” and “Bloedverwanten.”
Meanwhile, Madekwe most recently starred in a 2018 miniseries version of “Les Misérables” and the British comedy movie “Legacy.” Both Madekwe and Hoeks join previously announced cast members Jason Momoa, Alfre Woodard, Yadira Guevara-Prip, and Nesta Cooper.
News that Apple had inked a deal for “See” was first revealed back in January. The company made a straight-to-series order for the show, which was written by Steven Knight. In addition to Knight, Francis Lawrence will serve as director.
Details on “See” are unclear at this point, though it has been described as “an epic, world-building drama set in the future.” The first season ordered by Apple is said to be 8 episodes in length.
